Food Drive
There will be a Food Drive on February 12th at the Varsity BB games to support the Prairie Valley Food Bank. For each canned good donated one chance at a drawing will be awarded. Local organizations will be giving away prizes and cash donations are also accepted. More information will be coming specifically from Paul Johnson in form of flyers (hopefully to each school), etc. and a newspaper ad. This is a pretty simple and uneventful situation in terms of preparation…the intent is to set up a table near the gym entrance and collect donations – that’s about it.
Post Prom Pork Dinner
There will be a Post Prom Pork Dinner Fundraiser on Feb 12th from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the HS Commons. They are having Howard Ball's Pulled Pork Sandwiches and assorted bars.
Dance Team and Performance
The Prairie Valley Dance Team will be putting on their 2nd Annual Meal and Performance Show on February 14th, with the meal starting at 11:30 and show starting at 1:30pm. The menu includes beef burgers, chips, a variety of salads, and an assortment of cookies and bars. Meal tickets are $4 for adults and $3 for students. The meal tickets also include admittance to the show. Those not interested in the lunch can purchase show tickets for $2 for adults and students.
The show will feature performances by the elementary and middle school students who participated in the dance team workshop the previous weekend. The performances by the Warrior Dance Team will include their competition routine, pom routine, jazz routines, and end with a light routine. You also won’t want to miss the co-ed dance! The show will be themed around Valentine’s Day; we will even have a booth set up to purchase your sweetheart some flowers! The night is sure to be filled with fun, so support the Warrior Dance Team at their 2nd Annual Meal and Performance Show!
